When requesting a SAC for an assignment, the SAC must be submitted (along with work completed to date) within the time frame of the extension requested. (i.e. if the doctor's certificate is for one day, then the SAC and work completed must be submitted within one day.) For this assignment, you are required to research ONE topic from the list of topics below:
Cyber Security (eg. Honeypots)
AND do the power point.
and write how the topic of your choice affects our lives.
Your task is to write a 3-page essay (approx. 1000 words not including reference page). It must include an introduction to the topic and conclude with a brief summary of what you have learnt.
You are required to cite your material using APA 6 referencing, using a variety of sources, which must include at least 1 book and 2 valid articles. You would be expected to have at least 1 quote and 2 paraphrases in your essay. Only up to 1 appropriate graphic may be included which must also be referenced and have a caption attached.
Present your essay as a MS Word document, in an appropriate font (eg. Arial, calibri, Times New Roman), with a font size of 11 points, 1.5 line spacing. Create a title page for the essay (which does not count towards the page limit) which shows a title for your essay, your name and class.
Draft check with lecturers
A draft check will be carried out by your lecturer during the weeks 9 to 12). This is a one to one check that will enable you to receive feedback on your progress with this research document. Marks for carrying out this draft check will contribute to your final mark for this assignment.
