so the dyes to be seperated were 0.25 sodium fluorescein, 0.2% methylene blue and a dye mixture. When 95% ethanol was used as the buffer only the mixture and methylene blue travelled up the plate, but when 65% ethanol was used as the buffer all 3 of them travlled up the plate. why did sodium fluorescein not move with 95% ethanol?
