Since I suspect that all of you have already started doing the readings and thinking about your first response paper I feel that this is the perfect time to have your first homework due.

This is not the traditional homework, in this sense this is more of a check-in. I want you to individually answer the following questions:

1. How are you feeling about the course material that you have read thus far?

2. How much of the course material have you read?

3. Have you learned anything new from the material that you have read?

Keep in mind that these may seem like yes or no answers but I want you to explain as best you can. I'm not asking any of you to write a novel in terms of response.

I want you all to take these check-ins as a serious time to let me know how you're doing in terms of the course but also to self-assess the progress that you are making.

· Depending on the question, the responses are about (3-4 sentences max)
