Research Paper

Write a 1000-1500 word argument about a topic you would like to make an argument for. This essay contains literature review research elements; Chapters 1a and 12a in the Hacker and Sommer's textbook can be used as an overview of literature review components. Your paper will have a minimum of five sources; the three sources you found in the Week 4 essay are okay to re-use.

For this paper, provide a brief analysis of all five sources using the techniques you learned in Week 4. This analysis should answer questions, such as: Who is the author? What is being stated? Who is the audience? Is the information adequately supported? What rhetorical devices are being used? Your paper will introduce an additional argument to the discussion you researched in your five sources in Week 4. Support your argument with additional sources as needed. Also, ensure your argument is persuasive by using the rhetorical devices we have discussed in this course.
