The cold is merely nothing. Amontillado! You have been imposed upon. And as for Luchesi, he cannot distinguish Sherry from Amontillado." Based on this conversation, the reader can infer that Fortunato does not think Luchesi knows enough about wine to tell if the Amontillado is real. Is this characterization direct or indirect? Why?
