The major assignment includes

1. a literature review,

2. case study review of 3-4 other similar projects (like your case study) in details

3. Then your own case study in details. Which include the following things

1. Your case study would be something that has not been yet reported. You are taking ideas from the literature and case studies you have examined, and applied them in a different context.

2. In your own case study I would like to see some more detailed analysis rather than high level generic assessments. For the report, ensure that you have some sort of financial analysis, detailed risk assessments, etc. where appropriate for your project. For your case study, you are trying to convince me that you have an innovative idea that can be transferred to a new context, and that you have a serious plan to deliver that idea (i.e. financial assessment, change management assessment, risk assessment, benefits analysis, etc.).

•Present the general area into which the study fit (e.g. PPP)

•Introduce the specific aspect on which the study concentrate (e.g. PFI, risk management)

•General aspect of the case setting

•Research need: provide several argument that your study is Needed

•Introduce what you want to achieve:

• Brief research objectives

• Brief how you would like to achieve it

• Use examples to illustrate, introduce or expand the technical Points you wish to make

-Literature Review (20%)

•Provide an extensive literature review on the proposed Management technique/tool detailing its reported application Across all industry sectors with particular emphasis on the Construction sector (OR the industry of your case)

•Provide some indication of the reasons that existing research is Not sufficient (optional for this assignment)

-Case Study Review (15%)

•Undertake a critical review on reported case studies from the Literature

•Applications of the management tool in other settings (e.g. PFI cases which is relevant to your case)

-Your Own Case Study( your project case study) (35%)

•Method in data collection (interviews, document Analysis, participant observation, etc)

•Provide evidence

•Provide analysis

•Present findings (answer research questions)
