Another option for the final paper is to try to answer the following question, by looking at the philosophical texts that we have read during this quarter:

What is philosophy? What does philosophy do?

Obviously, the latter option is much more creative and implies a great deal of freedom, but it would also require seeing the bigger picture of what we have been doing this quarter, as well as some mastery of everything that we have read.

The first option requires you to write 1-1.5 page (Times New Roman, font 12, double-spaced, .docx) response to each question. The second option requires you to write a 3-5 page essay (again, Times New Roman, font 12, double-spaced, .docx). The choice is yours. The exams are to be submitted to D2l before the deadline.
