In considering the information on mental health disorders and issues in children and adolescents, comment on at least 3 things that you have learned about mental health issues. In addition, comment on what you will be more aware of with children and adolescents in your role as an educator. Do you have any personal experiences with students with any of these disorders that you would want to share? What helpful resources do you have in your school setting for children with mental health issues?

Provide 3 helpful resources that are available to students, families, educators and/or the community for children with mental health issues. Provide contact information and a description of what services are provided. For example, you may report information on a local mental health center for children/adolescents, suicide hotlines, or available professional institutions that can serve educators and/or children and their families. Be sure to list these resources so that any person could look at this list, know what the resource is, what they provide, and how to contact them or find more information.
