Part 1-

1.) In regards to "The Women's Kingdom", in your opinion is a conventional marriage or a walking marriage better for society? What would be the biggest barrier for people if they wished to start practicing walking marriages in the western world, such as in the United States? What shapes an individual's view on marriage?

2.) How can identity be positive or negative? explain with examples.

3.) In the terms of an individualistic and holistic society, what do you think would be the most beneficial to the person? What would be the most beneficial to the society? Do you think that there is one that is more important than the other?

Part 2-

1.) In the book discusses that in the Ju/wasi culture wealth is unimportant to them within their lives, it then goes on to explain that they focus more on sex, love, and beauty. Why is it that looks, and sex are more important than wealth, and security in this culture? Do you think that what they believe in is a good way to live, or do you think wealth and security should be the main focus? Explain your answer.

2.) In your specific family tradition, how important is your wealth. Is happiness more important? Depending on which one you choose why does that specific thing come first in your mind?

3.) Which family composition does your family most closely resemble? Is there another that you think would be more effective/you would like more?
