It is said that insurance companies like Blue Cross Blue Shield are raising co-payment for ER visits. The reasons for this more and more people are using the ER for physician visits, like the common cold instead of using the ER for emergency reason. Do you think this is fair to the policy holder? Do you think people should stop using the ER for the common cold and go to urgent care clinics?
