LITERATURE REVIEW PAPER

Each student is required to write a 5-7 page (double-spaced, one inch margins all around, no less than 12- point font, at least 5 full pages of text) research paper exploring any topic related to material covered in this course.

You must use ASA or APA style when writing the papers. In addition, your paper must be free of spelling/grammatical/writing errors.
You must first have the topic approved by me before starting to write the paper. Once your topic is approved, you are expected to find ten scholarly journal articles or books to support your argument in your paper. The articles must be peer-reviewed articles and must be approved by me. Books must also be approved by me. Internet sources may not be used! You must have a references page.

Topics may be general such as the following: the modern family; social class and families; effects of divorce on children; cohabitation; parent-child relationships; sibling relationships; caregiving and families; domestic violence; stepfamilies; immigrant families, etc.
