Comparing cultural values

You will be a part of a US American business team that will travel to different country's to introduce the idea of selling your new idea, product or service in another country. You will do all research prior to your trip. You will need to consider various things related to the culture and people you will be meeting with.

You will need to identify the following:

Compare cultural values of the country and the people vs. your own in the US. This should include business differences as well.

What are obstacles and cultural bridges to overcome by comparing Dr. Geert Hofstede's Cultural Dimension (4 Dimension) theory and the impact it will have to your US business proposal.

You will need to compare and analyze the proposed business strategy for selling your idea, product or service and be prepared to explain whether you and your team were successful or not.

It's as if you are presenting to senior managers of your company who sent you to sell your idea, product and service. Upon your return to the US you and your team will give the results of your trip.

You will deliver to senior management what you have learned about the other culture and the people and contrast it with yours. You will share the steps you took to identify the cultural differences.

Outcome:

Were you successful? Yes. We sell tractors to take Cuba out of the old way of farming agriculture and to bring them into the newer modern world. Those who cannot afford to do so have the ability to receive funds from family members who work outside of Cuba's country. There will be more info and videos in another email sent to you.
