In the movie, the director uses examples of the premise concept. For instance, Margaret and Andrew agree to make a plan that benefit both individuals as Margaret is getting her visa to stay in the United States and Andrew will get promote to an upper position (Ebert,2009).

Another example is Margaret and Andrew has to keep lying to the Paxton's family even when they know is not right but they want to keep the family together and happy. (Ebert,2009).

On the other hand, an example for cost is when Margate decide to tell the truth on the day of the wedding (Ebert,2009). Another moment was where Margaret and Andrew were fighting about telling the truth to the family because she feels horribly about the situation and while Andrew was making a turn Margaret fell down to the ocean and Andrew jump to the ocean and rescue her and warp a towel around her (Ebert, 2009).

However, for reward Margaret and Andrew fall in love and share personal information about each other. One occasion happens. When Margaret ask Andrew if he has a problem with his father and immedicably told her that was a blinder question to ask and Margaret out of nowhere told Andrew when she was in 6 grade she took disco lessons (Ebert,2009). The conversation between Margaret and Andrew was a good talk both characters express their fears and challenges in life.

For comparison Level, in the middle of their relationship, Margaret does not reciprocate when Andrew shows his love to her and both agrees to continue lying to his family since he loves her. The last concept is comparison level alternative.

An example of it is found when Margaret feels powerful being the boss in the office and treat Andrew as a result their relationship is in bad terms. In the movie, the director use examples to illustrate a vision about how having a bad communication can lead an effective communication.
