In recent years there has been a great deal of discussion about the possibility of creating a second Mount Rushmore, one that would honor the second century of American History as the original monument honors the first.  Four faces are needed for it though one who would be an automatic choice for many, Theodore Roosevelt, is already on the original.  From the period we are studying, 1877-2000, who would you put up there?  Select four individuals and justify those choices based on merit and accomplishments.  I usually can pick at least the first two, maybe even the third, but the fourth choice is typically the one that spurs the most debate.  This must be 1000-15000 words.
