How can a sentence break descriptive rules? I understand how they can break prescriptive rules but how does a sentence break descriptive rules

Example: If I was given these two sentences: 1. where did you went over the break and 2. This video is so funny, I can't even! I see how prescriptive rules are broken but I can't see if descriptive rules are broken.
