Formal report info

Study two similar american corporations or firms to determine which one more effectively uses social media and its online presence for branding, community building, etc.

The paper must include:

• a very brief history of the companies and their products, services, brands
• rhetorical and visual analysis of company websites, blogs, and select social media posts
• a determination regarding which company has more successfully created and cultivated a strong brand and positive public image

GUIDELINES FOR STRUCTURE AND LAYOUT OF REPORT:

• 3000 words (approx. 8 - 10 pages). Word count must appear on the document and does not include front matter or bibliography.
• Single spaced paragraphs with double spaces between them
• APA style for in-text citations and bibliography
• No cover sheet required, but must have title page exactly as shown in TBW
• No abstract required, but Executive Summary is a must
• Bind in transparent plastic and include word count after the conclusion

A minimum of 10 sources required:

• 4 peer reviewed articles (this is a minimum)
• 2 books (also a minimum but can include textbooks)
• 4 freebies (websites, social media, etc. - this is a maximum)
