His mother and grandparents kept this a secret because she didn't wanted to go through the humiliation of being a single parent. Ted Bundy' mother got marry, Johnnie Culpepper Bundy in 1951 and became Ted Bundy stepfather and Ted took his last name. (American Psychological Association, 2017). Throughout years, Ted Bundy got four other siblings and he wasn't happy about the situation. Johnnie Culpepper Bundy tried to spend time together with Ted Bundy, but he refuses to do any activities with him and with his step siblings and he started to have meaningful feelings toward his stepfather (American Psychological Association, 2017).

Ted Bundy didn't feel conformable being with other people around him and socializing with other kid online and in person. When he was attending university, he found the truth about his parents being his grandparents. His family issues and his strong emotions by not growing up with a father figure made him feel different from other kids and have remarkable feelings.
