Response Content:
Commentary on the article is provided. The commentary tells what the author's bias is. It answers these questions: What is the author trying to say about his/her main topic, and what method does he/she use to persuade the reader? The answer expresses agreement or disagreement with the author's message. In expressing this agreement or disagreement, your assertions are supported and reasons are provided for making them.
Grammar, Punctuation and Length:
The summary is less than half the length of the original material. It mentions only the most relevant examples from the text and serves to capture the author's main assertions and the author's stated reasons for making those assertions. The response is no more than two paragraphs in length. In addition, the paper exhibits college-level writing skills, and is free from grammar, spelling, and/or punctuation errors.
