These are STC's Principles for Technical Communicators. It's a brief reading but very interesting. Is there anything surprising among these principles? Anything you hadn't thought about? What are your thoughts?

4. Some cultures may not insist so heavily on documenting sources of words, ideas, images, sounds, etc., as American culture does. Does that mean we should have different standards for plagiarism here? Why?
