Design and Construction of a Conical Wireless Power Transfer System

Wireless charging of mobile phones and computing devices has become an essential factor in product differentiation among mobile device manufacturers. Usually the inductive later source is resonant and spreads its power into a broad region because power focusing are rarely applied in most products in the market.

In [1-3] Mohamed and Agbinya have pioneered a technique which is suitable for focusing magnetic fields created by inductive transmitters.

Two techniques on offer include using the so-called multi-dimensional coil consisting of six to eight inductors arrange around the surface of a hexagonal structure.

The design enables power to be both focused and directed to six to either directions concurrently.

Reflective journal format to write activities.

Week 1 Activity:

Describe This was my first time as a help desk person in IT.

Explore With the help of other staff members, I went through basic help desk tasks in my first week. I studied help desk service manual couple of times and tried to remember different step for different users.

Evaluate By repetitive use of manual, I got adequate knowledge to handle students and lecturer accounts and later with more practice, I grasp it.

Plan My plan was to understand every student issue and then follow manual to solve it, otherwise take help from.

Week 2 Activity:

Describe This week was more of outdoor activities.

Explore In second week, I learned more about student related problems to lab computers, photocopiers, printers and their related equipment like to check their ink and paper and to make it sure that they are working properly. Refilling of ink paper was new activity to me and I made it in my everyday routine later.

Evaluate This week was more of learning physical devices attached to , looking after and their maintenance on daily basis.

Plan Every morning I started to check printer machine and make it sure that everything is working properly.

Week 3 Activity:

Describe In this week, I spend time on software and hardware installing.

Explore This week was more of learning about computers and their related devices. I also learn how to do order, booking for repair or collection of different electronics devices from the company.

Evaluate After this week exercises, I was feeling more confident in call handling and communication skills even outside the organisation.

Plan Simple strategy was to understand clearly and then follow the instructions accordingly.

Week 4 Activity:

Describe This week activities were in multidirectional way.

Explore We were replacing all wired keyboard and mouse with wireless one in all computer labs around the building. Firstly, I numbered every single keyboard and mouse with its respective room number and then configure them according to their assigned room.

Evaluate This was different to me as I was helping my experience staff and he told me more about practical field and we troubleshoot few other issues as well and that was new learning for me.

Plan First, I took help for and later I repeat his process.

Week 5 Activity:

Describe Help in installing new devices.

Explore As of last week, I worked and help other staff member in placing new devices and get rid of old and wired PCs. It looked quite easy but was more time consuming in real. I spend whole two days and eventually we finished after hard work of two weeks.

Evaluate By this job, I learned that with the help of group work we could do multi tasks in very easy and appropriate manner. Utilization of different skills is very helpful.

Plan We followed the device user manual and our general awareness of equipment.

Week 6 Activity:

Describe Updating computers details.

Explore Most of the time of this week was with as we renamed few of the computers in different labs and their unique computer number that was for updating all computers details in IT backhand. As some of computers were still registered with previous name as was in old building.

Evaluate With the help of , we gathered all data and updated that information in back servers as well. I learned how to analyse the data and modify or alter it according to requirements.

Plan Check every computer room by room and change their details.
