Describe who benefited from the Indian Removal Act. What were the benefits? Describe the problems with the Act?

I understand the benefits were expansion of White settlement and the raise in cotton production in the southern states. I as well understand the act was intended to be voluntary, however turned into a forced removal. Though, I can't seem to find out any good resources to extend my arguments into 2 to 3 pages. Please help expand on my thoughts and give some good references.
