City Report Scenario: Utilizing the data collection skills used to prepare the critical thinking exercises students are to create a city report comparing two Asian megacities. Students should compare and discuss similarities/difference between the cities:

(1) population demographics,

(2) economic structure,

(3) socio-political culture,

(4) environmental stress issues,

(5) culture,

(6) religion, etc. List of Asian Megacities to select from for the city report: Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong, Delhi, Mumbai, Karachi, Lahore, Shanghai, Tehran, Istanbul, Osaka-Kobe, Dhaka, Manila, Singapore, Jakarta, and Bangkok.

Note: 1. The report MUST be 5-6 pages in length with proper paragraphs, standard APA style formatting (1” margins, 12-point font, double spaced), and adequate citations.

2. Students MUST use a minimum of at least five references for the city report, three of which cannot come from material presented in the class. Sources from Wikipedia, etc. are not acceptable references and should not be used.

3. The assignment must be submitted under the corresponding assignment tab as a Microsoft Word document only. If you use Vista you MUST save your document as a PDF or rich text file. A grading rubric will be used to grade this assignment.
