Chemistry Questions

In 100 words or more each with references and in text citations answer the 4 questions.

1. What is energy? What is work? What are several types of energy that exist and describe the means by which one type of energy may be converted into another type of energy

2. What is meant by the heat capacity of a substance? And, how may the heat capacity of a substance be measured?

3. The quantity of heat is a measurement of the amount of heat that is present in a system. The formula of quantity of heat, q, is equal to the mass of substance, m, multiplied with the specific heat and the change in temperature. When the quantity of heat is negative - the system is depleted of its heat; however, if the quantity of heat is positive - then the system gains heat. I am thinking what will be the SI unit of quantity of heat.4.

4. Both the Rutherford-Bohr Model and the Quantum Mechanical Model are useful in chemistry and have similar ideas. The Rutherford-Bohr Model is one-dimentional using only one quantum number, while the Quantum Mechanical Model is three-dimentional using three quantum numbers. The way they differ is with electrons. The Rutherford-Bohr Model suggests that the negatively charged electron is just floating around the nucleus. In the Quantum Mechanical case, the electron is treated as a mathematical wave. I am thinking that Bohr's model proposes that energy of electrons is present in an atom in definite orbitals, whereas, the quantum model describes the energy distribution of electrons in an atom in terms of probability concepts.
