Working on a lab in which we calculate the equilibrium constant from an absorbance value but my professor never told us how to calculate this.
The original formula is as follows: Co(H20)6^2+ + 4Cl^- ->CoCl4^2- + 6H20
Table 1: Original mixtures
Trial Grams of CoCl2x 6H20 HCl(M) HCl(mL) H20(mL)
1 0.01 3 10 10
2 0.02 3 10 10
3 0.1 0.3 10 10
4 0.1 3 10 10
5 0.1 6 10 10
6 0.1 12 10 10
7 0.2 3 10 10
