Book: Not Like Us Immigrants and Minorities in America by Roger Daniels.

select ONE chapter of Daniels' work and summarize the findings.

A three-page narrative which is formatted and cited correctly is expected .

The paper needs to be in Chicago format, double spaced, 12 point times new roman.

Keep the following questions in mind as you read your selected chapter, and as you write your paper. paper should address each of the points below:

1) Which ethnic or national group is Daniels highlighting in the chapter. Why did you choose this particular group of people to study?

2) What are the issues Daniels presents regarding that specific group?

3) How was this group of peoples received, treated and assimilated into American society.

4) In which geographic locations did this group settle in America?

5) How did this group assimilates into America culture?

6) What concluding thoughts can you offer about this group of people in America today. How America historically accepted immigrants into our country?

7) How can you explain the differences (or similarities_ in immigration patterns and issues between the early turn of the century, (1900) and the current immigration issues we face today?

Make sure your paper includes an obvious introduction, support (from the book) with proper citation, and conclusion.
