The two out of four I picked was Defensiveness and Stonewalling.

Defensiveness is when a person is feeling threatened, they become in a defensive state. They are defending what they think someone is trying to take from them. A person will normally get defensive in an argument with a family member, spouse, or friend. If a person starts arguing with you, instead of getting defensive, you can listen to what they have to say and calmly respond what you think.

Stonewalling is when a person completely shuts down and doesn't try to communicate or respond to the person and ignores them. Stonewalling normally makes the other person trying to communicate to them extremely irritated and mad. A way a person can stop stonewalling is to again, just listen to what they have to say even if they do not agree with them. Instead of staying silent and ignoring them, they can express their opinion in a mature way.

1. Contempt: It is hostile behavior when couples insult each other and attack each others self-worth and really just degrade them. Such as calling names or using sarcasm. We can improve this by trying to consider what they other person is saying and also not yell at them or call them names and have a normal conversation, with low voices.

2. Stonewalling: This is basically just withdrawing yourself from the conversation and just staying quiet or leaaving. We can improve on this by taking a deep breath, staying calm, and continuing the conversation without yelling, because most of the time when we leave the conversation it is shutting down the conversation making iti harder to talk about it again later. So, it is better to just stay calm and keep talking and try and resolve the problem.
