Text Book: Fast Food Nation: The Dark Side of the All-American Meal By Eric Schlosser.

In the book Fast Food Nation, the author Eric Schlosser provides both the history of the fast food industry and an argument regarding the "dark side of the All-American meal." Although you have only read an excerpt of this book, I want you to think about Schlosser's writing in the part that you read.

Please choose ONE of the writing prompts below, and write a complete response of at least 300 words and include evidence (i.e., quote a sentence or two) from the reading. 1. What do you think about Schlosser's writing in the excerpt that you read? Does his assessment of the fast food industry see fair? If so, what aspects of his writing make him seem fair?
