Assignment: "Who Am I?"

This assignment requires you to answer the question "Who am I and where do my ideas come from?" using an analysis based upon race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, class, religion and ability. Meaning, you must choose one of the aforementioned as a level of analysis and address the following areas in your paper:

1. Your family of origin. Family of origin refers to the significant caretakers and siblings that a person grows up with. This includes: Biological family, adopted family, caregivers, etc.

2. Your experience with socialization and culture. Based on the level of analysis you choose, how did this impact your socialization inside and outside of your family? How impactful was this within and outside of your culture. Be sure to define culture. Your definition must come from a credible source.

3. Your relationship as a victim and/or perpetrator of oppression. Be sure to define oppression. Your definition must come from a credible source.

4. Experiences with discrimination. Be sure to define discrimination. Your definition must come from a credible source.

Professionalism :
- The paper should be at minimum, 3 double spaced pages

Your paper must be at minimum 3 full pages excluding any title page and/ or list of references.

- The paper should focus on your individual experiences and an assessment of yourself. Papers will be graded on how well you address each guideline including, clarity, organization, analysis and depth.

- APA style is required.
Double spaced, 12-pt font, Arial or Times, cover page & reference list, and proper in-text citations.

You will need a cover page and at least 3 credible references. No Wikipedia! No Facebook! No Social Media!

- No Abstract page necessary.

- You must use the bolded headers (section titles/ dividers) in your paper.
