1. In book Cocaine Politics; drugs,armies & the CIA in Central America by Peter Dale Scott, we learned about muddy waters and morally compromising actions of some U.S. agencies. Politics and diplomacy can be ugly, especially when the stakes are high.

In this light, were the actions of CIA understandable? Acceptable? Were its actions, in retrospect, successful?

2. movie,Super-FLY was controversial from its release in 1972. Its protagonist is a drug dealer who is poisoning his community - yet the film presents him as a hero of sorts. What in Priest's character makes him appealing to a large segment of the movie's audiences? Why is he the (anti-)hero of the film?
