Assignment: Persuasive Speech

1.) Prepare an 8-10 minute persuasive presentation using the Motivated Sequence format. Use all steps shown in example outline and the following description (pg. 2).

2.) Use an abundance and variety of logical argumentation (inductive and deductive) to support your assertions.

3.) Cite at least 3 sources throughout the outline and delivery. Sources must be correctly cited throughout your speech (Oral citations for quotes, in-text citations for paraphrase).

4.) Follow the rules of outlining.

5.) Use strong emotional appeals.

6.) Include at least two stylistic devices (figures of speech).
