1. What is gastric bypass surgery? Who is eligible?

2. Discuss the history of the procedure. Include a brief discussion of each of the several weight loss surgery procedures used in the past, in chronological order.

3. Describe clearly and in detail the most contemporary lap band surgery and include an indepth description ofthe device, the surgery, and the installation. Describe also, its intended outcome and the maintenance, as well as the expected results.

4. Then you will evaluate the procedure, discussing it's success in reaching the intended outcome. Discuss the physical ease or problems for the recipient and the amount of complications and physical problems for the recipient. Report on thesuccess and the improvement of the recipient's overall health over 1 year, 3 year, and 5 year periods.Explain how it is better than previous gastric procedures.

5. Create a sense of closure focusing on the future of the product and on the contemporary obesity problem. Make it sound like you are closing the essay. Do not start discussing a new perspective.
