ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION:

This assignment will help you analyze the knowledge that researchers have learned in studying Paleolithic cave paintings. It is designed to help you critically consider what researchers know and what they do not know. In doing so, please address the following two questions.

The first is what do researchers know about caves and cave paintings and how do they know these things?

The other question that you need to address is the comparison question,

which is what do researchers not know about cave paintings and why do they not know these things? Your approach to these questions should produce a compare and contrast essay that does not exceed two pages in length. Think of this paper as a four or five paragraph summary paper.
