A rectangular box 1foot X 2 feet X 3 feet and weighing 384 lbs. is dropped into a 100 foot deep freshwater lake (density 62.4 lbs/cubic foot). The box immediately begins to sink. The drag due to the water is 1/2 the velocity.
Calculate the following:
a) the terminal velocity
b) the velocity when the box reaches the bottom
