When azithromicin is indicated for an infection of such a patient, does it alter the serum theophylline level? =
Serum theophylline levels were measured in 16 patients with emphysema at baseline (just antibiotics), & at 10 days. Clinically, it is anticipated that the antibiotic will increase the theophylline level.
