ABRAHAMIC COVENANT CHART INSTRUCTIONS

1. Read Genesis 12-50 with a focus on the Abrahamic Covenant. As you read, you will be noting instances (references) whereone of the "ingredients" (land, seed, or blessing) appears in some form (they may be interpretative).

For the final product of this assignment, you must have at least50 separate instances/references listed and must cover all of Genesis 12-50, even if you already found 50 references before the end of chapter 50.

The references must be numbered, and you must include the following for each reference:

a. To whom it was addressed: Abraham, Isaac, etc.

b. Circumstances under which it was reiterated.

c. The "ingredients" (land, seed, or blessing) which compose the covenant.

d. Its development through the Book of Genesis.

e. Any change in the content or emphasis.

2. Organize your findings into a usable chart (a thorough chart will be 8-12 pages long). "Usable chart" means a chart that could serve as a handout in a class and from which a lesson might be taught.

The chart will be graded according to thoroughness (locating all pertinent passages and analyzing them), creativity, neatness, and usefulness. See the example of the chart included.

3. Create a cover page containing 1-2 paragraphs that explain the contents of your chart and how to read and use it.

4. After completing the chart, save it and then submit it through the assignment link provided.
