1. We have learned that inequality is a fact of social life.  While an education does not guarantee economic success, some people may be motivated by the opportunities and income an education may generate.  Since our economic circumstances are governed by wealth and income, is the world getting richer or poorer? Is inequality getting greater or smaller?

2. Discuss "Occupational Deviance" and "Abuse of Authority" by a police officer as possible as acts of police corruption. Give one real-life example of eachand discuss this topic with your classmates.  

3. Discuss some of the ways that discretion in policing can promote effective and efficient police work. Give a detailed example and discuss this topic with your classmates!

4. The student will discuss "Internal and External" corruption and control approaches that candeter and eliminate police corruption. Give one real-life example of "Internal and External "corruption approaches.

5. Discuss the Supreme Court Cases; Mapp v.Ohio & Miranda v. Arizona. Describe the impact these rulings have on police searches and custodial arrests. Submit in two separate paragraphs, a minimum of 50 words each, with a detailed real-life example for each case.
