Let the large chain ring with 53 teeth equally spaced 12mm apart, small chain ring with 30 teeth, small cog with 12 teeth, large cog with 28 teeth, and wheels with diameter 700mm. The fit cyclist can comfortably turn crank at angular speeds between 30 and 130 rpm.

To go fast, the cyclist will shift to large chain ring and small cog and pedal at maximum rpm. under the conditions,
