Young Again Pharmaceuticals has created a high value product called "Twenty-something in a Bottle". This product is supposed to make people young again. This is the company's biggest discovery. The product poses elevated risk for all the company's hard work. The company must determine if they want to retain all the risk, transfer the risk, or share the risk. Since, the product is in high demand dividing the profits with other vendors will make dividing the risks minimal for vendors to take on. I would suggest transferring the risk to the logistics company. Especially with the manufacturing location. The Island of Puerto Rico has never been stable for manufacturing due to weather and unstable economy. It's not funny but we are doing this assignment and hurricane Maria is about to land in Puerto Rico. As Coyle, Novack, Gibson, and Barbi states, "Companies can disperse their freight among multiple carriers to reduce the financial risk of a sole sourced carrier (2011)"In my pervious post I recommended that Cliff transfer his risk to a third party logistics group because of delays due to the weather. Especially since we are posting these assignments and hurricane Maria t is hitting my beloved Island of Puerto Rico. If I was Cliff I would focus on moving the manufacturing of Twenty-something in a Bottle to an area where I could have access to a multiple routes not just air or water routes. I would look for railroad and truck routes. Where the weather and the economy is stable as well. I would also focus on an internal security so that the formula would be secured and no leaks or breeches would take place and the internal profit margins would be reach there maximum.

You think is a good idea moving the Young Again Pharmaceuticals from Puerto Rico to another place with more route to move their products easier and faster?
