The ability to create appealing and feature-rich Web sites is no longer limited to those with the skills to write complex code or create beautiful artwork. Every day free software and application programming interfaces (APIs) are developed and/or updated that allow you to easily incorporate Web site features such as shopping carts, advertisements, feeds, comments and more. Some tools, such as those found on Blogger and WordPress, even allow you to create complete blog-based Web sites.

While Blogger and WordPress have been available for a long time, traditional webhosts are now also offering blog-based Website creation software and tools. In order to create your blog-based website for this Module's Group Project, you will need to find a host, and software, that you think will be ideal for developing that Web site. Moreover, you will need to find tutorials that will help you utilise said host/software. As part of this Discussion, your task is to search the Internet for currently available tools, and associated tutorials, for building a blog-based website. Research, review and recommend at least three tutorials you believe are viable for your group's website.

To complete this Discussion

Post: Create an essay (350-500 words) in which you summarise the top three tutorials for tools you deem ideal for creating your Group Project's blog-based website. Present the three most impacting arguments on why your selected tutorials are the best options. However, when making your choices, consider any technology requirements your group will need to have in order to incorporate a blog and why the benefits of the tool and its tutorial are still worthwhile. Also, evaluate the quality of the tutorial in terms of sound quality (if applicable), language, details and video quality (if applicable).
