Question: Tip 2 for the week 6 discussion - The below headings with suggested content will help you include all the required elements for this week's discussion.

Introduction - Answer the following: What are data breaches, why are the breaches a threat/risk, why type of data is at risk, provide an example or two of a breach - make sure your examples are related to state and/or local governments; do not give federal examples.

Does MS-ISAC Reduce Risks? Answer the following: Is there a benefit to working with MS-ISAC, How can MS-ISAC help state and local governments, what services does MS-ISAC provide that will help state and local governments and why will the services help, will this help reduce data breaches, why or why not to all of these. Make sure you address the affordability of the services that MS-ISAC provides - not all governments can afford all of the services nor all of the services appropriate for all governments.

Who Else Can Provide MS-ISAC-Like Services? MS-ISAC is not the only option out there for state and local governments (i.e., NIST is an option). Provide some examples of entities/businesses/organizations that state and local governments can use to reduce risks and impacts of data breaches = make sure to explain not only what the provider can provide but why it is relevant to the discussion topic.
