PROJECT ASSIGNMENT: PC Operating System

Using one or more search strategies, identify a minimum of three different collaborative technologies (email, discussion forums, blogs, chats, IMs) that can be used to solve a software problem related to Microsoft Windows 7. (Example: Unable to print in Microsoft Windows 7 - you can't use this example!)

Deliverables:

1. Identify the problem (statement) that you are trying to resolve:

2. Identify the Internet Browser(s) that you used:[Outcome #1]

3. Identify a minimum of two (2) search engines that you used:[Outcome #1]

4. How did you refine your search to obtain the exact/precise information you were looking for?[Outcome #4]

5. Resulting collaborative technologies (minimum of three) that you found with viable solution potential. Make sure you justify your selection of technologies as it relates to your problem. [Outcome #3]

6. Summarize this information in the form of a PowerPoint presentation. (You can't use a Prezi presentation.) The first slide in your PPT must be a title/cover slide. There cannot be more than six (6) slides in your presentation. You will have a maximum of five (5) minutes to present this information. Please make sure that you have detailed speaker's notes on all of your slides (bottom pane).[Outcome #5]

Note: A typical PPT presentation would be assembled in this order - [Outcome #2]

• Title/Cover Slide, centered, with presentation title, name of presenter, date of assignment, class name, professor's name.
• Problem Statement (related to Microsoft Windows 7)
