Application Title: Aluminum Recycling Campaign

Purpose: This Windows application find outs the number of cans that must be collected to make the recycling campaign's goal amount and finds the amount earned based on the number of cans collected.

Program Procedures: From a Windows application, the user can select whether to find out the number of cans needed to make the recycling campaign's goal amount and finds the amount earned based on the number of cans collected.

Algorithms, Processing, and Conditions:

1. The user first selects whether they want to compute their collection goal or the amount earned by aluminum collection.

2. After the user selects the recycling option, display the necessary objects based on the selected need. If the user selects the collection goal, request the target amount they hope to earn. If the user chooses to find the amount earned based on their alumimum collection, request the number of cans collected.

3. Based on approximately 24 aluminum cans in a pound and the cost paid for one pound of aluminum cans is currently $0.75, find out the number of cans to collect to make the goal or find out the amount of money the collected cans are worth in separate procedures.

4. Display the result for the calculation on the form.

Notes and Restrictions:

1. A Clear Form button should clear the Form.

2. The data the user enters should be validated in Try-Catch blocks in separate procedures as
needed.

1. The pictures shown be selected from pictures available on the Web.

2. The application should begin with a splash screen that holds for approximately 4 seconds.

Use Case Definition

1. User views opening splash screen for four seconds.

2. User selects whether to find out the number of cans that need to be collected to make the
recycling campaign's goal amount or find the amount earned based on the number of cans
collected.

3. User provides the following information: the target amount they hope to earn or the amount
earned based on the number of cans collected.

4. User clics the Find Target Amount of Cans button or Find Amount Earned buttons and result is
displayed.

5. User clicks the Clear Form button to clear the responses.
