Problem

To expand the address space by connecting dynamic RAMs strobed with a negative-going CAS input, an overall CAS signal must be passed through a decoder with a complemented enable input and complemented outputs. Show that if we arc willing to renumber the outputs, such a decoder is identical to an ordinary decoder, but with ANDs replaced by ORs. What happens if the decoder is built as a tree decoder or a matrix decoder?
