Question 1- Suppose that layer n of a communication system changes it algorithm to carry out its operation. how does it affect the services, algorithm and implementations at layer n-1 and n+1?

Each layer below application adds h-bit headers to the upper layer protocol data units. What fraction of the communications medium data rate is used by the layering overhead? Assume no fragmentation or aggregation taking place in the network.
