Problem

Create a public private key pair and need to send the class TAs that public key by encrypting with their public keys Key ID for (key id: Abbas Acar: 40F447AD). I have no idea how to do this and was told to download the public key, but every time I put that number (40F447AD) in the serach string field on that website and nothing is found. I was also told to use GPG (GNU Privacy Guard) cryptographic software suite. How can I accomplish this using these tools? I have to then submit the file but I'm unsure how to begin or how to proceed.

edit: I tried to create a key using command line gpg --gen-key but was unsure how to proceed with the questions that followed and what to do with Abbas key ID. We can also use these key ID (Key ID for Amit Sikder: 04748F54, and for Leo Babun: F1928783) Please provide an explanation of what to do or how to proceed.
