Determine the optimum solution for each of the following LPs by enumerating all basic solutions.

Maximize Z = 2x1 -4x2 + 5x3 - 6x4,

Subject to:

x1 + 4x2 - 2x3 + 8x4 ≤ 2

-x1 + 2x2 + 3x3 + 4x4 ≤ 1

x1, x2, x3, x4 ≥ 0

Minimize Z = x1 + 2x2 - 3x3 - 2x4,

Subject to:

x1+ 2x2 - 3x3 + x4 = 4

x1+ 2x2 + x3 + 2x4 = 4

x1, x2, x3 , x4 ≥ 0

Consider the following sets of constraints:

Use the Simplex iteration method to solve the problem for each of the following objective functions.

Maximize Z = 3x1-x2 + 3x3 + 4x4.

Minimize Z = 5x1 - 4x2 + 6x3 -8x4.
