Overview: The project is a PV cooling bus shelter which is a bus shelter with fans or Air conditioning to cool the surrounding weather and the fan or AC which is the load of the system powered by PV panels. the system is off-grid which means it just powered from PV panels.

the whole project divided in two:

demonstration system: is a small rig powered from 9V PV panel with two small fans, the system is controlled by two sensors:

1. temperature sensor: if the temp erature of the place is over 24C, the fans runs and if the temperature is less than that, the system doesn't work.

2. motion sensor: if there is anybody in the bus shelter passing from motion sensor, the system works, other than that it doesn't work.

all of the demonstration is controlled by Arduino, it start from the PV it power the battery and there is a relay between them works as a charge controller as if the battery full the relay close, which stop the PV from powering the battery to prevent it from damaging. after that, the battery power each of the fan and the arduino to work as the picture attached below.

the second part is the real system of the project, which i have done by calculation in word document below as (Off-Grid).

there is two different documents attached:

1. FYP Report: which is the template of the whole report with all the structure that must be add to the report.

2. PV cooling bus shelter: which include the introduction and the background that i have did so far, it need to be fixed for sure and in the background there is some information need to be added as:

relays
charge controller
more information about PV

any more information that you think it's important to be add to the background from your understanding, add it as well.
