One of the resources we used was Ajeet Khurana's article that talks about the advantages of e-commerce. It was helpful to gain some background on the variety of benefits the electronic commerce provides. The article talks about how the e-commerce overcomes the global limitations especially with the e-commerce applications on the mobile phones which eliminate most of the obstacles the traditional commerce has. In addition, it reduces the overall costs that relate to the commerce in many aspects. For instance, the physical aspect, e-commerce obviously doesn't need a physical location which eliminates the costs of real-state. Also, the needing personnel are less than the traditional commerce due to the operational processes such as billing, payments and automation of checkout that decrease the required number of employees. In addition, the costs of advertising and marketing like pay-per-click and social media are less expensive than the ways the traditional trading follows. Besides, it implies the ease of the locating the wanted products faster by the search engine feature that most if not all e-commerce websites have. Also, it eliminates the distance and the cost of the traveling to reach the physical store barriers by a simple click. The article mentions the comparison advantage which most of customers seek to find the best deals. Furthermore, the virtual stores allow having more well-informed products due to the feasibility of the web pages, than the traditional ones which have limitations on the amount of information displayed to reduce the crowd in the place. The writer indicates the unique advantage of e-commerce which is the targeted communication that displays shopping lists consistent with the users' interests provided in the registration form. In addition to what mentioned previously is the 24/7 availability of the stores which is a win-win for both parties.
