Task D-Case Study Analysis

Tasks: Read the following scenario, understand and present your response.

Description of the Organization:

Oman Arab is an advertising company. They specialize in using large helium balloons to help businesses with their marketing. They rely on computer processing and databases to manage the distribution of balloons around the country. Customers can hire their advertising balloon by phoning up the nearest branch of the company.

Scenario:

Customers call and inform the office of the booking time and details. Whoever answers the telephone, checks the booking file to see if the time requested by the customer is available. The customer's booking details, which include contact details, advertising text, balloon type and installation instructions, are taken down and entered in the customer file.

The total price is negotiated between the company and the customer. If the customer orders more than five times, a 5% deposit of the negotiated amount is requested from the customer. If the order has been placed between two to four times, 10% deposit of the negotiated amount is requested from the customer. This is noted in the accounts file.

When the deposit is received, a receipt is sent to the customer and the accounts file is updated. A designer then uses the advertising details to create a number of designs and these are sent to the customer. The customer selects the appropriate design and adds comments for any alterations and returns the design to the advertising section. The changes are made and the customer file is updated with the design details that will be used.

The balloon is created and an account is produced and sent to the customer. Installation is then completed at the prearranged time. When the full payment has been received from the customer the accounts file is updated and a statement showing all payment details is sent to the customer.

At the end of the week a Business Transaction Report is produced for the customer and the customer file is updated .The company also sent the report to the head office.

Based on the above narration, perform the tasks listed below:

1. Prepare the following for the above mentioned scenario:
