Need to analysis everything and have to write report by referring the information available on internet. The final project for our EE 413 course this quarter will be as follows.... You are the chief systems engineer for a new project that involves the design, requirements definition and allocation, and verification & validation of a new satellite that will be launched on a Delta IV rocket to the Moon.

The mission of the satellite will be to travel to the Moon after leaving an Earth "parking orbit" for two days, during which time it will be operationally checked out before the 3rd stage of the rocket it is attached to is ignited, and the satellite is hurled towards the Moon. Once the satellite arrives at the Moon, it will then be placed in orbit between 800 and 1000 miles above the lunar surface.

The goal of this new satellite, named AnveShaN ) or " "Searcher", is to find a suitable landing location on the Far Side of the Moon. (FYI, there is NO "Dark Side" of the Moon, as every part of the Moon is illuminated some time during the Moon's orbit around Earth - it's just that since the Moon is "tidally locked" with one side always facing us, the public thinks that the other side is always in the dark.....) The final goal for this mission will be to eventually place a large, remotely operated/automated radio telescope to listen for potential signals from extra terrestrial civilizations in our Milky Way galaxy...

"Searcher" will need to be able to meet the following requirements for its mission:
1. Maintain an 800 to 1000 mile high orbit around the Moon for 4- 6 months
2. Take high resolution images of the Far Side of the Moon using both wide and narrow angle digital cameras, with a resolution of at least ½ km on the lunar surface.
3. Have a total mass of between 500 and 1200 kg.
4. Nominally use no greater than a peak power demand of 750 watts.
5. Have its own power source to power the instruments on the satellite/orbiter
6. Have both High Gain and Low Gain radio antennas for 2 way communications with the Earth, to send and receive data and command signals from mission control.
7. Be capable of withstanding occasional, sporadic micrometeoroid impacts, and possible radiation exposure due to possible solar flares coming from our Sun.
8. Have an uplink data rate of no less than 750 Mb/second, and a downlink data rate of no less than 500 Mb/second.

As explained in class in the PowerPoint presentation of November 18th, your project report should include:
· A Problem Description
· At least 5 functional, operational requirement statements
· A Level One FFBD diagram
· At least 5 candidate risk items that threaten the project (derived from the problem description or the operational requirements you choose)
· A simple, proposed project schedule (either using MS Project or neatly hand drawn)
· A preliminary verification matrix for the 5 requirements that you have picked/chosen (at the minimum, it needs to include the requirement name/title, the requirement statement, and how it will be verified).
